And Contortionists cause the relief by easing swelling, itching, asthma and other allergic reaction by targeting a certain joint in the form of injections and pills. Anti-depressants are also used for the treatment which can help by making adjustments in the level of natural chemicals in the brain. It can treat the chronic pain which doesn’t respond to other medications. The way anticonvulsants work for the relief of the pain is unclear but it’s a general perception that it helps in minimizing the effects of nerves which actually cause the pain. The other ways of treating the pain are the use of physical therapy or the use of TENS procedure in which patches are placed on the skin to send the signals which may stop the pain.
